Admission of Elderly & Welcome Kit

As soon as a new elderly person gets admission into Sunshine Old Age Home, he/she is allocated a private bed with cot, mattress, table, and chair. Also, a welcome kit is provided for him which includes clothes, towel, mattress cover, blanket, pillow, and pillow covers, slippers, plate, glass, bowl, spoon and toiletry items for one month.

After giving a couple of days to the new elderly to settle down at home, an introduction meeting will be organized for the residents with the aim of socializing with other elderly people.

Food and nutrition

Sunshine Old Age Home has a bigger dining hall, where 200 people can have dining at times. The dining hall is well-lit and well-ventilated with chairs and tables, food serving area, RO water provision, washing area for the elderly to sit and eat comfortably.

A kitchen is built with modernized cooking equipment to cook food for 200 people. Staffed by experienced cooks and kitchen assistants. This kitchen prepares and serves nutritious meals to the resident elderly in a clean and hygienic manner.

We are maintaining balanced nutrition in food as per the menu prepared by a nutritionist and a physician who are experienced in geriatric care.
